Can't stop procrastinating?

Here are some strategies that can help you:

  1. You can break large tasks into small, manageable steps. For example, if you want to start exercising for an hour, you can choose to do 20 minutes.
  2. Use the Pomodoro technique: work for 25 minutes, then take a 5-minute break. The break allows us to recharge our energy, which helps achieve better results.
  3. Eliminate distractions (silence notifications, use blocking apps). If you want to achieve complete focus, let your goals be your priority.
  4. Set clear and realistic goals with specific deadlines. Be honest with yourself when challenging yourself.
  5. Practice self-compassion if you struggle to follow through. Don’t punish yourself; we are human, and remember that you can always try again.
  6. Reward yourself after completing tasks. Don’t forget to treat or praise yourself when you achieve your goals; at the end of the day, only you know how much it has cost you.
  7. Identify and address the root cause of your procrastination (fear, anxiety, perfectionism). To face what affects us, we must first identify it.
  8. Start; the first step is always the hardest. You can do it!
